Dog lookingFor this first day, I followed the directions and wrote for twenty minutes. I set a timer to ensure that I wrote for at least that much time. I did get interrupted for three minutes so I added that time to my writing.

I used this exercise to try to “unclutter” my mind. Since the writing was too personal in nature, I will not post that draft. My train of thought, went something like this: what is the main thing I am thinking about right now, and of course tons of different thoughts came thru my head. I wrote about photographing wild flowers, disliking one-line roads and such myriad of topics that the twenty minutes were filled with bundles of rumbling.

My writing showed me how preoccupied I am with some many different things. I need to stop multi-tasking and concentrating on only completing one thing at the time.
